Everyone loves a good festival. Here at Arizona Federal, we’re no different. We asked our employees what their favorite festivals are, and here are the ones they picked. If any of these activities sound like fun, you’ll want to visit their websites for more information.

Roosevelt Row Chile Pepper Festival – Sept. 29, 2018
While some of us enjoy the cooler temps that come with the fall, Lauri F. in Accounting likes to heat things up with the Roosevelt Row Chile Pepper Festival. Head to downtown Phoenix to enjoy live music, kids’ activities and roasted chilies.

Flagstaff Oktoberfest – Oct. 6, 2018
Ariel O. from Digital Branch likes to head up north to go to the Flagstaff Oktoberfest. It’s 16 days’ worth of celebrations all rolled into a single Saturday. They’ll have plenty of food, music, and drinks for the whole family.

Taste of Cave Creek – Oct. 17-18, 2018
Macy M. from our Lending team will be headed here this fall. For 25 years, Cave Creek has celebrated the great food local restaurants and bars have to offer. This event’s so popular they expect more than 8,000 people to attend.

Arizona Taco Festival – Oct. 13-14, 2018
Who doesn’t love a good taco? At the Arizona Taco Festival held at Salt River Fields you’ll have your pick of about 50 restaurants, serving up some of the tastiest tacos around. You’ll also find Christopher D. from our Information Technology department enjoying the live music, taco eating contest and, if we can convince him, participating in the hot chile pepper eating contest.

Harvest Festival at Phoenix Public Market – Oct. 27, 2018
With more than 100 food and artisan vendors, the Harvest Festival is sure to be a blast. The day will be filled with pumpkin carving, chile roasting and a scavenger hunt, just to name a few. Head on down and make sure you stop by the Arizona Federal booth to say hi!

Pumpkin Festivals
When you think of fall festivals, you can’t forget about the many fun events hosted by local family-owned farms. While they may all provide pumpkin picking, corn mazes and farm-fresh cooked food, they also offer their own unique perspective on how to celebrate the fall season.
